A two-day workshop, offered on several dates across the Tees Valley with the same content and goal: to prepare your business idea for an incubator programme.
The sessions will focus on three main areas: value proposition, ad lib statement, and pitching. We’ll start by helping you clearly define what makes your product or service valuable to your audience. Then we’ll work on shaping that into a simple, memorable ad lib statement that is easy to share. Finally, we’ll look at how to pitch your idea in a way that is confident, clear, and natural.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for passionate, driven entrepreneurs at the very beginning of their journey. Pre-Flight is designed for those exploring innovative business ideas or just starting out, and acts as a pathway into The Stable incubator programme.
We welcome applicants who meet the following criteria:
Based in the Tees Valley Region: Businesses must be registered and trading in the Tees Valley region to be eligible (or applicants must reside and intend on trading in the Tees Valley region if not yet registered).
Key Areas of Interest: We are particularly interested in businesses operating in AI, Blockchain, Web3, Robotics, Space, Mobility, Sustainability, and Gaming, but businesses outside of these key areas are encouraged to sign up.
Sectors: We’re extremely interested in businesses solving problems in the following areas: Advanced Manufacturing, Chemical and Process, Health and Life Sciences, Net Zero, Transport and Logistics, and Smart Cities, but businesses outside of these sectors are encouraged to sign up.
Time Commitment: Candidates must commit to attending a full two-day workshop programme at a location of their choosing, and actively engage with the workshop material presented.
In addition to the core criteria, the following attributes are desirable:
Innovators with ideas or products that address a market need.

Showing potential for development, growth and future scalability.
